ABOUT OUR PRESIDENT, SUZANNE EDMUNDSON
Suzanne has been a private investigator and high-risk / high-conflict access supervisor since 2005. Her excellent reputation and extensive experience have helped countless clients. Her experience in the field means you can trust that your PI is competent and effective. Her reputation for integrity means you don't have to worry about how the evidence was obtained or about it standing up in Court. Suzanne's background is in Criminology, Sociology, the Criminal Justice and Court Systems; and with victims of crime, and at-risk children and youth.
Suzanne has received Judicial endorsements for her credibility, professionalism, and conduct and has been a trusted source for media for Romance Scams.
Suzanne became a PI after her own personal experience revealed a need for a more personalized, customized, and compassionate approach to the investigative industry. We are focused on customer service and helping people.
Cases are either Investigations or Access Supervision. The two are mutually exclusive, separate, and distinct, departments of our business. See our Access Supervision page for how our being a licensed PI agency actually benefits our access supervision and child protection clients.
While we do all types of parenting time access, we are the industry leaders when it comes to the most high-conflict, high-risk, complex, and reunification cases. Please see our Access Supervision page for how Axiom differs from all other supervision agencies.

The Honourable Mr. Justice Tammen
Link to Ruling:
"Suzanne Edmundson, supervised Mr. R’s parenting time in 2016, and later Ms. N’s parenting time when Ms. N was the supervised parent. There were no difficulties arising from her supervised visits of Mr. R. However, once Ms. N was supervised, issues arose, resulting in much time spent in email communication to arrange the visits. Ms. Edmundson withdrew her services because of the excessive number of texts and emails from Ms. N, and also because of what Ms. Edmundson viewed as a false allegation made by Ms. N that on one occasion, Ms. Edmundson had yelled at her. Ms. Edmundson described Ms. N as prone to histrionics, and said that Ms. N had told her that people involved in this case were conspiring against her. I accept Ms. Edmundson’s evidence. She presented as an extremely competent, professional, objective witness. In addition, she was plain-spoken and direct in her testimony."
The Honourable Mr. Justice Williams
P.P.W. v R.S.L.B.
2010 BCSC 58.
"Supreme Court Reasons for Judgment:
There was one witness whose evidence particularly impressed me. That was Ms. E.,a (P.I. &), professional access supervisor. She was assigned to supervise the plaintiff’s access to V.L.B. over 50 or 55 times, each session lasting a day. In my view, this witness was sincere and fair, and it was evident that she took seriously her responsibilities, both to supervise the access and to honestly report her observations left me quite favourably impressed."
VERIFIED CLIENT REVIEWS
"We hired Axiom for our high-risk, high-conflict access supervision case. My lawyer recommended them and
see why. Both of our supervisors here were excellent. Fair & unbiased but they don't put up with nonsense. My kids loved them both. I knew my children were being kept safe & their best interests were being protected. I can't thank them enough. I highly recommend Axiom if you're going through something like
These guys were awesome
"Excellent service worked hard, & were professional & honest. Helped us with some very difficult & sensitive staffing problems. Their undercover & surveillance were top-notch. If needed, we will definitely use them again. Vancouver. ca, re Yellowpages"
"I am very happy that I hired Axiom Investigations. Suzanne went out of her way to obtain information & evidence that made my case. She's very good at her job & genuinely seems to care. I just wish I'd called sooner. I highly recommend Axiom & Suzanne to anyone requiring PI services."
"Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
Excellent service from Suzanne. Prompt and efficient. I highly recommend her service if you need help."
"My case was full of lies and defamation and I could have lost my child forever. This is where Suzanne's services was crucial. Suzanne very open and transparent about her non-bias approach to child supervision. She was very professional and maintained in the integrity of the supervision process right to the end. She respected opinions and “stories” of both parties while maintaining professional boundaries. Years of experience in the supervision field allowed her to use her professional judgment and submit a report that was full of facts. I admired her ability to capture details of supervision succinctly. During the visit she allowed the parent and child interact freely without comprising the supervision. She allowed the parent to pick the activities and provided flexibility where she could. |She is also culturally sensitivity. I would strong recommend Suzanne to anyone looking for a child supervisor."
"I am and was very happy with Suzanne and her company’s professionalism, attentiveness, her attention to detail, her discreetness, her helpfulness and compassion, while helping us to deal with very a stressful and grossly unjust family situation.
If you want a professional and honest company to help you deal with life’s unjust situations, then Axiom and Suzanne is your go to private investigator company every time."
"Absolutely outstanding service. Axiom goes above and beyond for her clients. She genuinely cared about my case. She’s very efficient and makes a hard situation seem easy. She helped me on more then one occasion, both times were fantastic experiences. She does what she says she will and there’s no BS or hidden costs. I’d highly recommend her."
"In regards to the review by PropertyTechGirl, I can attest that I am the other parent in this situation.
The supervised visit in question was terminated for VERY JUST CAUSE, as defined by the terms and conditions of Suzanne’s very reputable business, which were agreed upon and signed by myself AND the mother. Suzanne’s business of 14 years has had NOTHING but 5-star, glowing reviews up this point.
Throughout the process of sourcing out an agency, my only priority was to ensure that my son remained safe and comfortable throughout these court-ordered supervised visits. Suzanne’s priorities were exactly that of mine, and the termination of the visit this past Sunday is the reason for the malicious review above by my son’s mother.
What Suzanne did in this volatile situation was EXACTLY why I chose her to supervise the visits between my son and his mother. Suzanne was never anything but extremely professional, and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a qualified supervisor for their visitation circumstance."
"My sister got court-ordered supervision for when my niece visited her father. He has a violent history & other companies dropped him or refused to work with him. My sister met with another supervisor agency first but wasn't happy with their level of expertise & experience. The axiom supervisor had everything under control (including him) & my niece really liked her too. Very professional & genuine."
"very kind and professional person"
"Our experience with Axiom has been excellent. We had an extremely difficult case, with a clever and very evasive target. Not your typical "is my partner cheating on me" type case.
We found Suzanne to be forthcoming, honest, and diligent. She goes the extra mile and does things other PI's don't do. She also doesn't look like an ex-cop, which is what most other PI's seem to be, thus she is less obvious and can more easily be just another "average person". This is especially helpful when conducting surveillance. The information Axiom has gathered is expected to finally make this case, in our favor. Without it justice may not have been adequately served, and we'd have been on the short end of the stick."

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Supervised Access / Access Supervision / Supervised Visitation
Q: What industry standards, licensing, and training exist in the access supervision industry?
A: Shockingly, none. Axiom is the only agency subject to Government licensing (annual, several levels), & criminal records checks. Axiom has created and implemented policies within our industry, with the hopes these will become standardized.
Q: What qualifications does someone need to be a supervisor?
A: None, because there are no licensing or standards in the regular industry. Many agencies use minimum wage supervisors (even though their hourly rates are higher than Axiom's). Axiom never uses minimum wage supervisors. Our supervisors are the most highly-trained and experienced in the industry.
Q: Do you testify at Trial and why do so many other agencies refuse to?
A: Axiom absolutely testifies at Trial. Without the writer being subject to cross-examination, the reports may not be allowed into evidence* (*we are not lawyers. We do not offer legal advice & nothing we say shall be interpreted as such. Please consult Counsel). If your supervisor refuses to testify, your reports may be worthless. Why do they refuse? Because they either don't want to, or they have previously been found to be not credible. Some have Supreme Court Justices ruling that they were not credible, unbiased, professional, truthful ...Your supervisor MUST have a solid reputation for being credible and unbiased.
Q: Can you recommend a really good family law litigator?
A: We sure can and are happy to do so for anyone who requests it (both parties). We have specialized in the most high-conflict. complex, and challenging cases since 2005, so we are very familiar with Counsel and their litigation styles and records. Axiom has no vested interest in offering names of Counsel and receives no benefit or consideration for doing so. We genuinely want to help families and this is yet another tool we are able to utilize to that end.
Q: Are your cases mostly related to cheating?
A: Surprisingly, no, Our first 6 years, we exclusively did Plaintiff Personal Injury cases. We do a lot of corporate and civil stuff, including specializing in all aspects of Family Law-related matters. There are so many ways a good PI can help. We do searches, background checks, romance scams, vetting, landlord services, process service...
Q: Is your job dangerous?
A: It definitely can be, at times. Unlike the vast majority of PI,s (who are male and do insurance surveillance, almost exclusively), we specialize in high-risk investigations and access supervision, including undercover / covert work.
Q: Has being a woman been a positive or a negative in your work?
A: While there remains much room for improvements within the industry; when it comes to gender, my being female has only benefitted my clients and cases, on myriad levels. Whether it's the child protection end of things, undercover, obtaining access and information where others have failed, or getting out of some pretty sketchy situations, it has only been a positive. Plus, the woman's intuition, gut-instinct, and sixth-sense stuff is real.
Q: Is your job like in the movies?
A: For the most part, definitely not. If we conducted surveillance the way Hollywood portrays it, we'd get burned (caught) every time.
